Muhammad Amin was born in Ireland, where he qualified in Visual Communications (HND). After spending eight years in Edinburgh developing graffiti art sessions with pupils and youths in the poorest areas of that city, he travelled for a couple of years, returning to Ireland briefly and spending time in Germany, before moving to Norwich, where he has been busy establishing himself as a Graphic Artist, doing a range of work, including spray-painting, vinyl graphics, illustration, desktop publishing, graphic design and photography.<\/p>\n
Throughout, he has maintained an interest in writing – especially performance poetry – and theatre. He has written a one-act play entitled ‘Pathogen’, which has been performed twice in Edinburgh, and is being considered for a short movie by local independant film-makers.<\/p>\n
He designed the covers for Diwan Press\u2019s two titles The African Caliphate<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and Banking, the Root Cause of the Injustices of Our Time<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(with Abdassamad Clarke), and is currently working on the design and layout of bi-lingual editions of the Riyad as-Saliheen<\/em> and the Mukhtasar at-Targhib wa’t-Tarhib<\/em> for the UK Islamic Academy<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Muhammad Amin was born in Ireland, where he qualified in Visual Communications (HND).
